From the historic city center to the harbor and the city park, the stalls of the Constance Christmas market have been spreading their festive cheer during Advent since the 1980s. The largest Christmas market on Lake Constance attracts more than 450,000 visitors every year.

Over 170 artisans, traders, and restaurateurs display their wares in a festive atmosphere. Mulled wine and punch, traditional dishes, and sweets delight the taste buds at the most popular Christmas market on Lake Constance. The stallholders are mainly from the region and offer a wide variety of goods. Typically Swiss – the border is just a stone's throw away – is the Stängeli fondue, which can be enjoyed at the market.
